8 puppies born March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) 5 Girls -3 boys (No DS, No Tail kinks, all have perfect scissor bites, 2 boys are ridgeless) The owners have all mostly decided on Irish Themed call names.

"Foosa" lives here at Tifari Ridgebacks and was bred to "Captain" owned by Marie Sajewicz & Tea Cooper, Zareba Ridgebacks. The breeding occured in January of 2008. We are very excited about this breeding. Both dogs have numerous titles showcasing their intelligence and willingness to please their owners. In Reginition of this, they have both recieved the honor of adding "VC" to their list of titles. VC is a versatility certificate awarded by the National Ridgeback Club. They both have passed extensive health tests and have EXCELLENT hips. Each dogs has also made the RRCUS "Top 20" obedience list for 2006. Aside from his wonderful temperament, Captain is known for his exceptionally fluid movement around the ring as well as his beautiful dark red coat color. He finished his conformation champion title (Ch) with 4 Majors and numerous Best of Breeds over specials! Captain also recently earned 2 Best Veteran awards at the age of 9.5 years: The RRCUS Supported Shows in Monroe, MI as well as The Best Veteran in California at the Orange Coast Regional Specialty. Foosa is tearing up the performance side of things scoring high both the Agility and Obedience rings.

UPDATE: November, 2009 The pups are 20 months old and are doing great so far exceeding all expectations. We have 5- JC Lure Coursing titles with 1 more 1/2 way there. Neila also has her AKC Field Championship title and Piper is major pointed. The 4 show pups have passed their Canine Good Citizen Tests, and several of the companion pups are expected to this year as well. Piper, Ramsay, and Rylee all earned their Rally Novice title and Piper has went on to complete the Rally Advanced title as well as her Novice Obedience title. Piper and Neila have both completed her UKC Championship with ease, and Rylee Earned Her International Ch title in PA. Rylee, Ramsay, and Piper all got their Herding titles at the ridgeback Rodeo. Neila has her Novice Agility title and Piper has legs towards hers as well. All 4 show pups have AKC points towards their titles I am so lucky to have such great puppy owners!
